Colorado is known for its majestic mountains. There are 58 mountains that climb above 14,000 ft but only 54 of then are known as 14'ers. While summer seems to be one of the most popular seasons to visit, my favorite time is the last week of September or first week of October. This is when the aspens change from their green summer colors to their beautiful yellow and fiery orange autumn colors. I was fortunate to work for a company based in Colorado where I had to visit once a month. This provided optimum photo opportunities.
